Newfoundland Power (the Company) is committed to the prevention of workplace illness and injuries while providing electricity service in an environmentally responsible manner. The same commitment is expected from all contractors while engaged in official business or involved with other activities that promote the objective and interest of the Company. Any conduct by a contractor engaged in business activity with or on behalf of the Company that is unethical, outside of the law or gives the appearance of unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
Unless otherwise specifically described by written agreement, the contractor shall abide by all of the Company’s applicable policies, procedures and required training (collectively “documentation”) while engaged in business activity with or on behalf of the Company.
The contractor shall keep all contractor personnel who will perform work for the Company informed of the applicable documentation and any updates to the documentation posted on this website.
